Corporate Training
We provide corporate training on all disciplines of software engineering. Our training programs range from induction level programs for the fresh recruits to customized project specific programs to the team leads and project managers. Our training focuses on a company's critical needs to ensure that workforce is fine tuned to organization's goals.
Our Corporate trainers are business veterans whose role is to tell you what you really need to hear about your company. Corporate trainers do plenty of cheerleading, of course, but their real value is in the objective, unvarnished advice they can provide.
Hence trainers can save you from falling into common traps and point out things you may be too busy to notice. "New entrepreneurs have a pretty difficult time because they start with an idea and suddenly have to become multidimensional", says Gordon Shea, author of "The Mentoring Organization". "Most folks have weaknesses, and they need help filling in those gaps".
Role of Mentors
The primary responsibility of the External Trainer is to transfer knowledge to the internal mentees. They are paired with the Internal Mentees (as well as the core project team member(s) in their respective disciplines) and work on actual project deliverables to facilitate the knowledge transfer.
Discussing on the differences in training and mentoring, these are two distinctly different activities that are often regarded as the same at organizations but everyone will agree that training and mentoring are crucial activities.
Myths and Facts of Corporate Training
Training and mentoring activities cost time and money. There will be push back at all levels, from project practitioners to management, when a project team is going to apply process and tools for the first time.
Questions of impact to the timeline and resource cost will come up, such as: "If the project team is in training, they are not doing work on the project. Where will they charge their time? How will this affect project deliverable not being produced on time?".
Using this training model, the materials used in the sessions are actual project artifacts that the project team would need to do anyway, they will just be in the new process style.

- We do the mentoring program on any live implementation of the process or tools after the training.
